SNACK: 3-line summary

  • STRICT-G RUNWAY introduces a Gundam SEED FREEDOM collection imagining day-off outfits for Kira, Lacus, Athrun and Cagalli.
  • Two Asakusa pop-ups run October 31–November 30 with different lineups; winter outerwear follows on November 14.

STRICT-G RUNWAY imagines what Kira Yamato, Lacus Clyne, Athrun Zala and Cagalli Yula Athha from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM might wear on a day off. Its first collection, for autumn/winter 2026, begins reaching STRICT-G stores and HiKESHi SPiRiT pop-ups in Asakusa on October 31, with online preorders opening a day earlier, October 30.

Kirari: That tiny pink Haro against the black shirt is such a nice pop of color. I’d love to put an outfit together with it and those navy Kira high-tops.

Nea: I’d linger over the little Tori motif on Kira’s shoes. It makes me want to study all four outfits and see which small character references I recognize.

The Lacus Clyne long-sleeve T-shirt pairs a black base with a small pink Haro and outlined L.CLYNE lettering on the chest. It costs ¥5,720 including tax.

Kira Yamato’s SPINGLE leather high-tops use dark navy blue, cream soles and a light-blue bird emblem beside K.YAMATO lettering. The Kira and Athrun versions cost ¥27,500 each, including tax.

These tops and sneakers are part of the October 31 release. The collection’s winter outerwear follows on November 14, including nishikawa down parkas and jackets, boa jackets and reversible fleece jackets—so the full illustrated winter looks will not all be available on opening day.

Two Asakusa shops, two different Gundam lineups

The HiKESHi SPiRiT pop-ups run from October 31 through November 30. Asakusa No. 1, at 1-2-12 Asakusa in Tokyo’s Taito ward, focuses on the original Mobile Suit Gundam, with STRICT-G JAPAN merchandise and HiKESHi collaboration items.

Otogumi, the second shop at 1-2-9 Asakusa, focuses on SEED FREEDOM and STRICT-G RUNWAY, alongside collaboration goods and cafeteria merchandise. The two locations are not interchangeable stops for the same range.

Among the classic Gundam collaboration pieces is a charcoal-black, wrap-front samue jacket with white faction emblems. It costs ¥51,700 including tax for the jacket only; trousers are sold separately. Lantern-style stands in Gundam and Char’s Zaku II designs cost ¥6,600 each, including tax.

Online orders get the card, but not the extra tag

Premium Bandai’s STRICT-G Online Store opens preorders on October 30 at 1 p.m. JST. The window is scheduled to close November 15 at 11 p.m. JST, though orders may end earlier if the allocated quantity is reached.

STRICT-G RUNWAY 26AW orders are scheduled to ship in November 2026. STRICT-G JAPAN × HiKESHi SPiRiT collaboration orders are scheduled for December 2026.

Each eligible STRICT-G RUNWAY 26AW garment comes with one original illustration card when purchased through Premium Bandai, STRICT-G stores or the HiKESHi pop-ups. Purchases at STRICT-G stores and the pop-ups also receive one original illustration tag per eligible garment, with the design assigned at random. Premium Bandai purchases do not include the tag.

Otogumi’s entry lottery has closed; café details are still to come

Applications for Otogumi’s entry lottery for designated dates and times closed on October 28 at 11:59 p.m. JST. Results are due from noon on October 29 through Bandai’s official LINE account.

One ticket admits two people at the winning date and time, and the LINE ticket must be displayed at entry. It does not guarantee purchase of a particular item. The store may switch to walk-in entry depending on crowding, so the lottery does not mean every visit throughout the month requires a winning ticket.

A collaboration café is also planned at Otogumi during the pop-up. Its menu, café hours and usage details have yet to be announced.
