Maomao’s green is heading for Yokohama’s night sky on December 12, 2026. A five-minute fireworks display joins a Chinatown pop-up in The Apothecary Diaries’ December 4–20 city collaboration, celebrating the new film’s December 11 release in Japan.

Snackgirls react
Kirari: I want to see that green against the waterfront at night. I’d probably spend half the five minutes deciding whether to watch or take photos.
Nea: Jinshi’s tinted glasses and closed fan have caught my attention. I’d like to compare that full-size look with the panda chibis.
Maomao and Jinshi dress for the Chinatown pop-up
The new collaboration artwork puts Maomao in a green Chinese-style outfit and Jinshi in lavender robes, tinted glasses and a long braid, with a closed folding fan held near his face. Panda-themed chibi illustrations offer another take on the characters across the merchandise.
The pop-up runs from December 4–20, 11 a.m.–6 p.m., at ChinaTown80 Hall in Yokohama Chinatown. The venue is on the first floor of Yokohama Dea Tower at 80 Yamashitacho, Naka Ward. Crowding may lead to admission limits or numbered entry tickets.
BIG acrylic stands come in two designs at ¥1,980 each, while embroidered pouches come in two designs at ¥2,750 each. A venue-exclusive satin drawstring bag packaged with cookies and a sticker costs ¥2,420. These prices include tax; the bag package is a retail product, not a purchase bonus.
The merchandise lineup may change, goods are available while supplies last, and purchase limits may be announced.

Eight bonus cards for qualifying venue purchases
For every ¥2,000 including tax spent on eligible goods in a single transaction, shoppers receive one random illustration card from eight designs. Designs cannot be chosen, and distribution ends when supplies run out.
This benefit applies to purchases at the venue, not online orders. The eight illustration cards are separate from the seven planned neon sticker designs being distributed through participating businesses around the city.

Five minutes of fireworks at Shinko Pier
The December 12 display is scheduled for 7–7:05 p.m. JST at Shinko Pier, as part of Yokohama Night Flowers × Yokohama Green Expo. The fireworks will center on green inspired by Maomao, rather than an announced all-green display. Weather and other conditions may cause cancellation, so check the event’s latest notice before making the trip.
One part of the collaboration starts earlier: the moving walkway linking the Sakuragicho Station area with Minatomirai will receive special decorations from November 30 through December 20.
Neon stickers lead into a planned 12-stop rally
From December 4–20, participating businesses will offer campaign stickers when customers order a designated menu item or use an eligible service. Seven neon-style designs are planned, and scanning the QR code on the back adds a digital rally stamp. The participating businesses and sticker designs will be announced later.
The digital stamp rally is planned for 12 locations around central Yokohama’s waterfront, with life-size character standees at the stops. Original rewards will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis according to the number of stamps collected. The route, required stamp counts and reward details are still to come.
Collaborations with local Yokohama products are also planned, with the individual products to be announced later. Those details and the rally locations will help shape a route beyond the Chinatown shop.
