Kotobukiya announced Grande Scale Emulator #1 from its Megalomaria plastic-model series at AK-GARDEN 30 on November 1, 2026. The enlarged, redesigned sample is shown beside HEXA GEAR V-THOR—and Emulator is the larger of the two standing models.

Snackgirls react
Kirari: Those blue-purple eyes against the gray sculpt really draw me in. I’d want a close-up that keeps the pointed hair details in the frame.
Red: I want to tackle the build and paint those segmented armor sections. Then I’d be trying sword poses until I found one worth keeping on display.
A bigger canvas for building and painting
Grande Scale starts with Kotobukiya’s model CAD data, enlarged and redesigned for a bigger kit. The line is intended to offer the assembly and painting possibilities that come with working at a larger size.
Kotobukiya says the wide range of articulation is retained and describes the eye printing as more delicate and beautiful. In the close-up sample photo, blue, cyan and purple stand out against the gray sculpt, framed by pointed hair details.

A development sample, with release details still open
The sample’s appearance may differ from the final product. The release date and price are undecided, and preorders have not been announced.
