Snackgirls react
AIKO: I’d try the same explanation at a few different lengths to hear where the narration starts to feel rushed. The duration slider gives me a useful variable to experiment with.
Nea: I’d like to turn a character sketch into a tiny narrated scene. I’m curious whether the character would still feel like themselves once they start moving and speaking.
Choose a length from 3 to 15 seconds
A duration slider lets you set a clip’s length from 3 to 15 seconds. Google’s suggested uses include a product promo made in a single clip, short social content and a narrated concept explainer.
Reference images and voices get an update
A still image can serve as a reference for a generated video. Google says Omni 1.2 Flash improves consistency when references are used, helping characters and products retain their appearance across generations.
Google also describes more realistic speech, greater speaker variety and a wider vocal dynamic range.
Workspace rollout began November 5
Google started the rollout to both Rapid Release and Scheduled Release Workspace domains on November 5, 2026. It gives a 1–3 day window for the feature to become visible.
Users with the AI Expanded Access add-on have higher usage limits, so the free allowance is not a cap for every subscription. To get started, open Google Vids at vids.new.
