Snackgirls react
Red: I’m hoping an overlooked classic catches my eye. One good surprise could have me clearing an evening to finally give it a go.
Nea: I’m curious how preservation will feature in the show. I’d love a reason to dig into an older game’s setting and get lost in its lore.
The GOG Social beta and a new GOG GALAXY
GOG also announced Retrovibe by GOG, its first step into publishing, and the GOG Social beta. The new GOG GALAXY has been rebuilt for Windows and Mac, with Linux support still to come.
VGC’s coverage places the event in the context of GOG’s focus on DRM-free games and classic-game preservation. That makes older releases relevant to the conversation, though fan requests for particular classics are not confirmed announcements.
