Editor quick take
Red: “The important cleanup is that this is collection-trailer news, not another Kingdom Hearts IV angle.”
Nea: “Nintendo of America and Japanese Nintendo can support the same Switch 2 collection topic, but the article should stay inside what those official sources actually show.”
Kirari: “For readers, the save point is easy: collection, Switch 2, official trailer. Keep those three together.”
Nintendo of America has posted an official KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I–III] announcement trailer for Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo’s Japanese channel also has an official Direct video for the same collection topic.
Separate from KINGDOM HEARTS IV
This item is not a KINGDOM HEARTS IV update. It is about Collection [I–III], so it should stay separate from any existing Direct draft that covers the next numbered title.
For readers new to the series, a Switch 2 collection can be more relevant than a single future-title trailer because it may offer a route into the earlier entries. The current draft therefore keeps the focus on the collection announcement.
What the trailer confirms
The official videos confirm the collection name and Nintendo Switch 2 connection. Details such as included versions, sales format, regional store pages, and pricing still need later official store confirmation.
