LEGO Technic Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear 42232 Revealed: KRW 679,900 in Korea, Launching July 4

What moved straight to the publication line in today’s LEGO and hobby lane is that the official LEGO Korea store has listed the `Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear Megacar 42232` with both its Korean price and release date. A specialist LEGO outlet spotted it first, but from a reader’s perspective, the more important point is whether official Korean purchase information is actually attached. For this set, KRW 679,900, July 4, 2026, and 4,104 pieces are all confirmed together.

The Korean official page has locked in KRW 679,900 and July 4

According to the official LEGO Korea store, the `Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear Megacar 42232` is listed at KRW 679,900, scheduled for release on July 4, 2026, rated 18+, and made up of 4,104 pieces. The official U.S. page checked on the same day lists the price at $449.99, so Korean readers can now compare the domestic listing directly with the overseas reference point.

That is also the first thing to look at with this set. At this stage, the most important point is not rumor or leak territory, but whether the domestic sales information has actually appeared on the official page. For this 42232 set, that official Korean purchase information is already in place.

Ghost mode, a 9-speed gearbox, and a V8 make the adult Technic points clear

Looking at the official product details, the center of this set is not just display value but hands-on mechanical appreciation. LEGO specifically lists a working ghost mode accessed by lifting the rear cover, smooth-opening doors and front hood, fold-out side mirrors, a V8 piston engine, triplex front and rear suspension, steering, and a 9-speed gearbox.

In other words, this 42232 is not simply an “expensive large supercar LEGO set.” It is closer to an adult Technic car with plenty of functions to touch even after the build is complete. For car-hobby readers, it is worth expecting not only building difficulty and display presence, but also the hands-on feel after completion.

Right now, look at both the Korean price and the space it needs

The dimensions listed on the official page are 15 cm high, 59 cm long, and 28 cm wide. It is fairly long and wide for something to treat as a small desk item, so with this set, where to place it for display matters almost as much as the price. If you keep collecting large 1:8-scale Technic cars, it is more practical to check display-case compatibility first.

So the practical check at this point splits into two parts. First, whether the KRW 679,900 Korean price fits the 4,104-piece count and feature bundle. Second, compared with the official U.S. price of $449.99, whether going straight through official Korean retail is the more convenient route. If you were already considering an adult car LEGO set to display for a long time, this 42232 is a signal worth watching.
