Snackgirls editorial note

Kirari: This feels like a small piece of Splatoon Raiders merch that also protects the Switch 2.

AIKO: The useful numbers are ¥2,990, winter 2026, 10 game cards and 233 g. Remember that the console itself is not included.

PowerA is preparing a Splatoon Raiders-themed slim case for Nintendo Switch 2 in Japan. The official PR TIMES release from ACCO Brands Japan was published on July 15, and Inside Games also reported the preorder opening on the same day.

A winter 2026 Switch 2 accessory priced at ¥2,990

The official product name is Slim Case for Nintendo Switch 2 – Splatoon Raiders. The estimated market price is ¥2,990, and preorders opened on July 15 through listed Japanese retailers and online stores.

This is a licensed Nintendo Switch 2 accessory, not a new game bundle. Its value comes from combining a carrying case with the main visual direction of the upcoming Splatoon Raiders.

10 game-card slots and table-mode use

The case includes a soft pocket that can hold 10 game cards while helping protect the Switch 2 screen. It can also be used as a stand for table mode, which makes it more than a simple sleeve.

The official dimensions are 150 x 255 x 45 mm, with a listed weight of 233 g. That positions it as a portable slim case for players who want protection without adding much bulk.

Retailer and warranty notes

The release lists Amazon PowerA official store, Rakuten Ichiba, BicCamera and Yodobashi Camera among the handling retailers. Actual stock, preorder status and delivery timing should be checked at each store.

The release also lists a two-year domestic warranty for the regular Japan product. Availability and warranty coverage outside Japan should be checked separately with local official channels.

Why this is a follow-up, not a repeat of the game reveal

Game Sunakku already covered the earlier Splatoon Raiders game announcement from the Direct cycle. This update is different because it adds a specific licensed accessory with price, function and retailer information.

The article uses official PR TIMES/PowerA images and public Inside Games images, with the featured image reused as the first body image so readers can see the case design immediately.
