MG Hyaku-Shiki Kai and Heavy Gundam Resales Begin

The confirmed points are the September 4 11:00 resale preorder start, 6,490-yen Hyaku-Shiki Kai, 5,390-yen Heavy Gundam, and February/March 2027 planned shipments.

BANDAI SPIRITS is bringing two MG 1/100 MSV kits back through Premium Bandai. Resale preorders for the Hyaku-Shiki Kai Mass Production Type and FA-78-2 Heavy Gundam begin at 11:00 a.m. JST on September 4. Neither kit will be available through standard retail stores.

The Hyaku-Shiki Kai offers a second configuration

Based on Mobile Suit Z Gundam MSV, the Hyaku-Shiki Kai Mass Production Type features newly sculpted head and shoulder armor, a beam Gatling gun, and newly sculpted parts for the backpack. Its gold exterior uses a non-plated molded color. Builders can also reproduce the Hyaku-Shiki through parts selection, while the weapon set includes a beam Gatling gun, beam rifle, beam saber, and clay bazooka. The kit costs 6,490 yen including tax and is planned to ship in February 2027.

Heavy Gundam brings a 170 mm frame launcher

The FA-78-2 Heavy Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam MSV uses MG-format shaping and color separation to reproduce the mobile suit’s form and colors. Its equipment includes a beam cannon, beam saber, and a frame launcher measuring approximately 170 mm long. Water-transfer decals are also included. The price is 5,390 yen including tax, with shipment planned for March 2027.
