Edifier is showing the WH950NB Pro wireless over-ear headphones at IFA Berlin 2026, and its most unusual change is inside the earcups. Each side combines a 40mm woofer with a dedicated 10mm tweeter, giving this model a different acoustic layout from the recent WH950NB New Version.
Two drivers connected by a crossover
SoundGuys describes the two dynamic drivers as being linked by a DSP-enhanced analog crossover. Edifier also claims adaptive hybrid noise cancellation using eight sensing microphones, while a separate six-microphone AI beamforming system handles calls and wind noise. These are manufacturer descriptions rather than results from independent listening or ANC tests.
Head-tracked spatial audio joins wearing detection and Smart Chat, which pauses playback and activates transparency when the wearer begins speaking. Listed wireless features include LDAC, SBC and AAC, Bluetooth 6.1, multipoint and Google Fast Pair.
What changes from the 2026 WH950NB New Version
The current WH950NB New Version lists one titanium-coated 40mm driver, four-microphone hybrid ANC, Bluetooth 5.4 and up to 80 hours of playback. The Pro moves to the 40mm-plus-10mm system, doubles the ANC sensing microphones to eight, raises Bluetooth to 6.1 and adds head-tracked spatial audio. Its stated playback time is about 70 hours with ANC off, roughly ten hours below the older model’s figure; no ANC-on runtime is listed.
Several ways to connect, but retail details must wait
USB-C digital audio and an active 3.5mm connection are available alongside wireless listening. The analog input can keep the internal electronics and processing powered, so it should not be treated as fully passive playback. Physical controls, black and white finishes, a 3.5mm cable, a USB-C-to-USB-A cable and a travel case are also listed.
Edifier has not announced a price or exact on-sale date. SoundGuys expects the headphones later in 2026 and says full testing will follow when retail hardware becomes available. Until pricing, local release and support details, and independent sound and ANC reviews arrive, recent WH950NB New Version owners have little reason to replace their headphones on the specification sheet alone.

Nea I’d want to hear how the woofer and tweeter share a dense track, especially when vocals sit over a busy low end. That crossover makes the first listening session genuinely interesting.
AIKO USB-C digital audio and an active 3.5mm input give the signal path options. Even the analog cable keeps the electronics working; apparently the DSP does not get a wired day off.
