Red: Calling out to Oatchi before diving into a Dandori Battle sounds like the first thing I’d want to try.
AIKO: A weekend exam window and online leaderboards turn Dandori into a recurring optimization problem. I want to see how routes differ across the three difficulty levels.

Pikmin 4 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Dandori Academy launches November 12, 2026. Its headline addition is a 72-stage Academy, joined by voice commands for Oatchi and new ways to share Dandori Battles.
Dandori exams become a weekend challenge
Dandori Academy’s exam stages will be released over time, with exams held from Friday through Sunday. Three difficulty levels, medals, and online leaderboards give players several ways to test their Dandori skills.
Call Oatchi and share a battle
The Nintendo Switch 2 microphone supports voice commands for Oatchi. Dandori Battles also support same-system play and GameShare, either locally or online through GameChat. During a shared session, a friend can join even without owning the game.
Existing owners have a separate upgrade route
Players who already own Pikmin 4 can access the Nintendo Switch 2 features through a paid upgrade pack. It is not a free update.
