Snackgirls react
Red: I want to take Shimmer straight into Heroes’ Vault and see how her speed and Foresight feel against those enemy waves.
Nea: The newly voiced event scenes interest me most. I’m curious how the added performances will shape each scene.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition launches on December 3, 2026, with Nintendo listing 60 frames per second for the release. The edition also adds a new Hero and battle mode alongside its visual upgrades.
Shimmer brings speed and Foresight
Shimmer is a new speedy Attacker Hero who uses Foresight. Her arrival is joined by Heroes’ Vault, a defensive battle mode that pits players against waves of enemies.
4K on TV, full HD in handheld mode
Nintendo lists 4K resolution in TV mode and full HD in handheld mode. Newly voiced event scenes are included as well.
Existing owners have an upgrade-pack route
Nintendo’s store says the full Nintendo Switch version is required to use the upgrade pack. That requirement is worth checking before choosing this route to the Switch 2 edition.
