Snackgirls react
Red: I’d start with the pop-up headlight mechanism, then take my time on the AE101 Group A engine and Watanabe eight-spoke wheels.
Kirari: That black-and-white silhouette calls for a low front three-quarter photo, with the headlights raised to sharpen the AE86’s expression.

Aoshima’s 1/24 Initial D No. 6 Takumi Fujiwara AE86 Trueno Vol. 37 specification kit is scheduled for a September 2026 rerun in Japan. Based on the Kanagawa-area battle with Kai Kogashiwa, it gives builders a distinctive hands-on detail: the retractable headlights can still be opened and closed after assembly.

The Vol. 37 showdown, down to the engine and wheels
The kit includes an AE101 Group A-specification engine, Watanabe eight-spoke wheels, fog lights and steering parts. The battle specification is completed by a roll cage, rear mudguards, an aftermarket muffler and a bucket seat, while window-frame masking seals help with the bodywork.

An unpainted kit with a 174 mm finish
The completed model measures 174 mm long. It comes unpainted and requires adhesive; the official product photos show an assembled and painted sample. No character figure is included, and the lights do not illuminate. The current official MSRP is ¥3,300 including tax, with JAN code 4905083059616.
