Nea I wonder whether the one-hour timer would be enough for my nightly podcast or audiobook routine. It sounds tidy for drifting off, but it could also cut a long chapter short.
AIKO Disabling both LEDs and touch input in Sleep Mode is sensible. Re-enabling Sleep Mode and the timer after every power-off is a remarkably manual bedtime ritual.

MEE audio designed the SleepTones Wireless around an under-2-gram earbud with a low-profile body for side sleeping. An integrated silicone ear loop is intended to help the earbuds fit smaller ears without adding a bulky outer shell. The model goes on sale in Japan on September 11 for ¥7,700 including tax, while the official US store lists it at $39.99.

Sleep Mode turns off lights and taps
Sleep Mode disables both the earbud LEDs and touch controls, preventing light and accidental taps while lying down. The optional Sleep Timer powers the earbuds off after approximately one hour.
Neither setting is retained after power-off. According to the official manual, Sleep Mode and the timer must be enabled again for the next listening session. With Sleep Mode off, the touch controls handle volume, track changes, calls and the voice assistant.

The timer is optional, but the battery is not all-night
MEE audio claims up to 4.5 hours of playback per charge and up to 19.5 hours in total with the charging case. The one-hour shutdown is optional, so playback can continue beyond it, but the single-charge figure remains shorter than a full night. The case charges over USB-C.
Built for bedtime audio, with fit still untested
The earbuds use a 5mm dynamic driver, Bluetooth 5.3 and the SBC codec, with IPX4 splash resistance. Black and beige sleeves are included, and mixing the colors can make the left and right sides easier to distinguish in the dark.
SleepTones Wireless targets listeners who want white noise, podcasts, audiobooks or music while lying down. Fit and pressure will still vary by ear, and independent tests have yet to establish real-world comfort, isolation or battery performance. Anyone needing overnight playback or tested isolation may want to wait for those results.
