Nea — I like that the collection has an ending. Choosing the sources first makes it feel more deliberate than another scroll that never stops.
AIKO — With permission, Gemini chats can now join the morning feed. Apparently, context has picked up a second job.

Dreambeans is now free with no subscription required for people age 18 and over using personal Google accounts in the United States, on Android and iOS. Availability remains limited to the U.S.; Google has not announced a rollout in Korea, Japan or other countries.
A daily collection with an ending
Announced on September 10, Dreambeans proactively prepares a finite set of personalized stories each day instead of offering an endless feed. The design gives readers a defined collection to browse rather than another stream that keeps refreshing.

You choose which apps can contribute
Dreambeans uses Personal Intelligence to connect information from sources the user selects and permits. The listed options are Calendar, Gmail, Photos, Search, YouTube and, with this expansion, Gemini; Google says Gemini conversations can add nuance and context to the stories.
Connecting every app is not required. If Photos is selected, Dreambeans may also incorporate images of the user and loved ones into a story.

Stories can lead somewhere else
Opening a story reveals more detail, with options to bookmark or share it, send feedback, and adjust topics to see more of them or stop them from appearing. Google also presents the update in an official 51-second Dreambeans overview video.
