The changes to HAKU’s HTT-1100 VER2.0 are inside the familiar exterior. OTAI AUDIO will launch the second-generation beginner turntable in Japan on October 13, 2026, retaining the previous model’s core equipment while redesigning the built-in phono preamp for LINE and Bluetooth listening.

Red I want to lower the tonearm and start the record myself. That little hands-on ritual is what draws me in.

Nea If a favorite game soundtrack has a vinyl release, I’d like to try it through familiar, compatible Bluetooth headphones. I’d probably choose one of the quieter tracks first.

Match the output to your listening setup

HAKU says the redesigned preamp improves sound through LINE and Bluetooth outputs. The included RCA cable has also been updated with stronger shielding and gold-plated connectors.

The built-in phono preamp amplifies and equalizes the record’s tiny signal to line level. With the rear switch set to LINE, no separate phono preamp is needed, but you still need compatible playback equipment that provides amplification and sound reproduction. PHONO instead connects to an external phono preamp or a phono-compatible input—not an ordinary line input.

Bluetooth 5.3 sends the record’s audio to compatible wireless headphones, speakers or receivers. It is an output for listening to records, not an input for streaming music from a phone into the turntable.

You lower the arm—and finish the record yourself

The belt-drive player supports 33 and 45 RPM, with neither automatic start nor automatic stop. You cue the tonearm yourself, then lift it and stop the platter when the record ends, taking care around the stylus.

Setup also involves tracking-force and anti-skating adjustment. The included Audio-Technica AT-3600L MM cartridge has a recommended tracking force of 3.5 g.

The Japanese launch price is ¥29,800 including tax.
