Snackgirls react
Red Black fits that understated shape, but yellow is the one that catches my eye. I’d want to wear the brighter version.
Nea These make me want to revisit a favorite game’s soundtrack from beginning to end. I’d check my device’s USB-C audio support and the on-ear fit before settling in.
Two colors on a simple sliding frame
The collaboration pairs Denmark’s AIAIAI with Montreal design studio JJJJound and centers on color and minimalist design. AIAIAI announced the collection globally on August 20, ahead of this Japanese release.
The headphones use 40mm drivers and an aluminum brace that doubles as a rail for the sliding earcups. The cups rest directly on your ears, rather than wrapping around them as over-ear headphones do.

Where the Japanese release will be sold
Ginza Jujiya’s Dirigent division is handling the Japanese release, with sales limited to BEAMS RECORDS and the Dirigent online shop. Kakaku’s October 5 report gives an expected Japanese market price of ¥12,100 for either color.
Before choosing a pair, check that your device supports audio through USB-C and that the on-ear fit suits how you plan to listen. Those are useful checks if you’re considering a move from wireless headphones to this wired design.
