The digital upgrade offer runs through January
The offer runs until the end of January 2027 and is available only through Nintendo eShop. Owners of physical Nintendo Switch copies are not eligible.
The upgrade costs ¥100 in Japan. Discounted upgrade fees are also available for Deluxe Collection and Ultimate Collection.
What Deluxe and Ultimate add
Digital preorders are open for Standard Edition, Deluxe Collection and Ultimate Collection. A physical version will also be available at retail, and all editions include the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack with Vibrant Visuals.
- Deluxe Collection includes Celebration Food, Rescue Dogs and Plenty O’Blocks, along with three exclusive Character Creator items and 700 Minecoins.
- Ultimate Collection includes those three add-ons plus Decocraft and Weapons+Tools. It comes with five exclusive Character Creator items and 1,000 Minecoins.
Vibrant Visuals won’t cover every way you play
Vibrant Visuals is unavailable in split-screen play and in some Marketplace worlds and content, so sharing a screen means playing without the visual upgrade.
If you also play Minecraft on other platforms, keep the Minecoin restriction in mind: coins included with these collections and coins purchased on Nintendo devices must stay within the Nintendo ecosystem.
