Square Enix is bringing Xenogears, the ultimate Gear that appears late in the game, to its BRING ARTS line as a fully painted action figure. The machine’s distinctive large back unit is articulated too, letting it move along with the body for dynamic poses.

Snackgirls react
Kirari: The deep blue against that pearl-effect white catches my eye. I’d want a display angle that shows off those flowing armor lines.
Red: I’d move the back unit first and build the pose around it. I’m curious how much changing its angle changes the figure’s stance.
Pearl-effect armor and a silhouette that can move
Based on the original design, the figure recreates the flowing armor lines and sharply extending head antenna. Its white armor is painted with a pearlescent effect in mind, alongside deep blue and vivid red accents. Clear parts and metallic paint add contrasting finishes across the design.
Broad articulation throughout the body supports dynamic action poses. The large back unit has its own movement, so posing can extend beyond the arms and legs to that distinctive rear silhouette.

A February release with hands and a display stand
BRING ARTS Xenogears is scheduled for release in Japan in February 2027, priced at ¥41,800. It comes as a painted, completed action figure, not an assembly model kit. Replacement hand parts and a dedicated display stand are included for different display setups.
