Snackgirls react

Kirari: I’d love to see those cryptid silhouettes as plush works up close. I’m already imagining where one could sit on my shelf.

Nea: I’d like to compare the plush works with the miniature figures. Which details keep a yeti or tsuchinoko looking endearingly strange when it’s made smaller?

A plush-art world inspired by yeti and tsuchinoko

Artist Honami Sato began YAKOU (夜行) in 2017 as a project centered on plush works. Her designs draw on cryptids such as yeti and tsuchinoko, giving these mysterious creatures a humorous, endearing character.

The pop-up’s planned selection includes plush artworks in limited quantities, stickers and other related goods.
