NIJISANJI’s Haunted School pairs gothic looks with pastel ghost mascots

Black capes and layered skirts meet rounded pastel ghosts in NIJISANJI and NIJISANJI EN’s Haunted School Halloween collection. New gothic school-inspired artwork features eight livers, with merchandise sales opening today, October 20, at 6 p.m. JST.

Eight gothic looks, 16 random card designs

Ars Almal, Shiina Yuika, Sister Claire and Machita Chima are among the eight participating livers. The illustrations bring together black, gray and white outfits, with capes, coats, layered skirts and pale trim.

Acrylic stands come in eight designs at ¥1,900 each. Their main pieces measure up to 101 mm wide and 150 mm tall, depending on the liver.

The random photo-style cards cost ¥350 each and come in 16 designs: eight standard versions and eight rare versions with reproduced handwritten messages. The messages are reproductions, not individually handwritten notes or authentic autographs, and buyers cannot choose the liver or rarity.

Colored ribbons on black card cases

The card cases pair black covers with colored crisscross ribbon lacing and an included portrait card. There are eight designs at ¥3,800 each.

Each case measures approximately 105 × 152 × 10 mm, while the included card measures 54 × 86 mm.

Eight little ghosts—and three Nijipuppet outfits

With rounded pastel bodies, embroidered faces and ball-chain loops, the eight ghost mascot designs are about 12 cm tall and cost ¥3,000 each.

Separately, the Nijipuppet customization series offers three costume designs at ¥2,500 each. These are outfits, not puppet-and-costume sets; the puppets pictured in the product previews show how the costumes look when worn.

Badge sets, ribbon acrylic keychains, clear file and sticker sheet sets, and aroma sprays round out the nine product categories.

Sales this evening, shipping from late October

Sales begin simultaneously on Tuesday, October 20, at 6 p.m. JST at the NIJISANJI Official Store and NIJISANJI EN Official Store. The yen prices quoted above include tax and apply to the Japan store.

Per person, per checkout, acrylic stands, card cases, ghost mascots and Nijipuppet costumes are limited to five of each design. Random photo-style cards have a separate limit of 40 per person per checkout.

Dispatch is scheduled for late October 2026 onward and may shift with warehouse conditions. Orders containing multiple items ship once everything is ready, so arrival by Halloween is not promised.
