BANDAI SPIRITS has postponed the October 22, 2026 preorder openings for MG 1/100 Superbia GN-X and MG 1/100 Hyaku Shiki Kai at Hobby Online Shop. Maintenance at Premium Bandai has left the service unavailable, so the previously announced opening schedule no longer applies.
Snackgirls react
Kirari: The kit photos can wait—I’d send a friend the updated preorder notice first. I wouldn’t want them planning around the old opening time.
Red: I want one of these on the workbench, so the wait is a little frustrating. A new preorder date would give me something to look forward to.
What changes for Superbia GN-X and Hyaku Shiki Kai
The delay concerns the start of preorder applications for the two MG 1/100 model kits. The notice does not announce a product cancellation or a change to their release or shipping dates.
No replacement opening date in the notice
BANDAI SPIRITS asks customers to wait for service to restart, but gives no new preorder date or time in this announcement. It also does not say that preorders will open as soon as maintenance ends.
If you were planning to place an order at the previously announced time, follow the official BANDAI HOBBY account, @HobbySite, and Hobby Online Shop announcements for updates on when applications will begin.
