Snackgirls react
Kirari: That pyramid silhouette is what I’d want facing out on a shelf. I’m curious how the finished build will frame it as a display piece.
Nea: I’d love to see which parts of RobotRock’s original build the designers choose to keep, and which they rework together. That collaboration is the part I’m most curious about.
A father-and-son build reaches the LEGO design team
The project began with Patrick Harboun and his son in Luxembourg, brought together by their love of Daft Punk and LEGO. Their creation won the grand prize in the LEGO Ideas Music to Our Ears challenge in 2020 and later reached 10,000 supporters on the platform.
Now, fan designer RobotRock will work with LEGO designers to develop the final set. The project is the first product milestone in a wider partnership spanning products, content and brand experiences.

The fan pyramid is a starting point
The published pyramid model is the original fan submission, not the finished retail design. Its details may change as the designers work on the final version.
LEGO closes its announcement with “More to come in 2027.” That promises further news, not a confirmed release year; a launch date has not been announced.
