Gloomy Bear’s stamp rally began on October 26, turning a walk through three shopping complexes in Osaka’s Namba district into a hunt for an umbrella-marker reward. A separate app-member giveaway started the same day, while the merchandise pop-up follows on November 7.

Snackgirls react
Kirari: That pink against the silver train is such a good contrast. I’d want a photo with Gloomy Bear and the headmark in the same frame.
Nea: Knowing Mori Chack began by selling postcards in Namba makes me want to linger over the new local artwork. I’m curious how he’s worked the city’s landmarks into the designs.
Six checkpoints across three Namba complexes
The rally runs from 11:00 on October 26 to 21:00 on November 15, 2026. All times are Japan time. Use the Namba Marutto app to scan the QR codes at these six checkpoints:
- Namba Parks 2F: near the information desk
- Namba Parks 5F: near Loft
- Namba Parks 6F: near the north connecting corridor
- Namba Parks 3F: near Center Bridge
- Namba CITY main building B2F: near the information desk
- Namba SkyO 3F: near Ikari Supermarket
The first 1,000 people to collect all six stamps can receive one round umbrella marker based on a Nankai train headmark, while supplies last. There are four designs, and you cannot choose which one you receive. Stamps cannot be pooled between participants or transferred.
Reward collection runs from October 26 through November 16—one day beyond the rally’s closing date—from 11:00 to 21:00 at either the Namba Parks 2F information desk or the Namba CITY main building B2F information desk.
Keep the completion coupon unused and show its screen to staff. Tap “Use” only when a staff member instructs you. A coupon activated on your own beforehand cannot be redeemed.
The official event page has app links and participation details.

A separate gift for app members
The Namba Marutto app-member giveaway also runs from October 26 through November 15. It is for the first 1,000 members, including people who join during the event, and ends when supplies run out.
Present your digital membership card at either the Namba Parks 2F information desk or the Namba CITY main building B2F information desk, from 11:00 to 21:00. No stamp collection or purchase is required for this gift.
This giveaway has its own allocation of 1,000 gifts, separate from the rally reward. Members receive one of four character-shaped umbrella markers, with no choice of design.

Namba artwork comes to the November pop-up
The Gloomy Bear pop-up shop is scheduled from 12:00 on November 7 to 19:00 on November 15, in front of the information desk on B2F of the Namba CITY main building. Merchandise will feature original Namba-themed artwork drawn by creator Mori Chack, incorporating landmarks such as Tsutenkaku and the Rapi:t train.
The shop has a third, separate umbrella-marker offer: the first 1,000 customers who spend ¥4,000 or more, including tax, receive one bonus marker. The bonus designs include Rapi:t and Tsutenkaku motifs, but customers cannot choose their design.
A Mori Chack signing session and Gloomy Bear greeting are planned for November 14. Participation details will be announced later on the official event page.
Two Nankai trainsets already carry Gloomy Bear headmarks
One trainset on the Nankai Line and one on the Koya Line have been running with collaboration headmarks since October 10, with the promotion scheduled through November 15. These are selected trainsets, not every train, and operating plans can change, so a sighting is not guaranteed.
The collaboration, “Namba de Guruguru Gloomy powered by chaxcore,” is part of GREATER NAMBA FESTIVAL. Its setting reaches back to the character’s beginnings: Mori Chack started selling postcards on Namba’s streets in February 2000.
NANKAI’s promotional photos show the pink mascot beside a headmarked train at Namba Station, against the Osaka skyline at Tsutenkaku and out for a stroll at Parks Garden.
