Red If I already had a DAC ready to go, I’d happily skip a duplicate adapter. Let me plug in and get the game running.
Nea I’d like to see that pearlescent shell up close. It makes me want to pick out a favorite game soundtrack for a quiet listening session.
For the DAC or player you already use
Kanjitsu presents the simpler package as a more affordable option for listeners who already own a portable DAC/amp, compatible audio adapter or digital audio player. The included cable still ends in a 3.5mm stereo mini plug, ready to connect to a matching audio output.

The pearlescent shell and detachable cable remain
ALBA S uses a 10.8mm dynamic driver. Its shell combines die-cast zinc alloy and anodized aluminum, with a subtle pearlescent finish.
The 1.2m braided silver-plated copper cable attaches to the earpieces through 2-pin connectors. The box also includes four pairs of silicone tips—S, M, L and XL (LL)—and an eco-leather pouch.

Budget for the connection, too
Kanjitsu’s official store lists ALBA S at ¥24,750 including tax. For existing ALBA owners, there is no reported sound upgrade to justify replacing their earphones with the S package.
If you’re starting with a USB-C-only phone, you’ll need a separate compatible DAC or audio adapter. Include that accessory in the total cost; before choosing the package, check your source’s connections and how the earphones fit.
