Snackgirls react
Red I want to try that flip-up mute mid-game. I’m curious how naturally the motion would fit into a quick pause between rounds.
Nea I’d like to leave a quiet game soundtrack playing and just chat. I’m curious how my voice would sound to the person on the other end.
Connect through the included USB receiver
Unlike the wired ATH-M50xSTS and ATH-M50xSTS-USB, the new model connects wirelessly through its included 2.4GHz USB-A transceiver. A USB-A-to-USB-C adapter cable is also supplied.

Flip up the boom to mute
The large cardioid condenser microphone draws on Audio-Technica’s AT20-series technology. Raising the boom mutes the mic.
The microphone supports noise reduction to optimize the voice signal for the recording environment. This acts on what the microphone captures and should not be confused with active noise cancellation for listening.
45mm drivers with monitor-headphone roots
The headphone section uses 45mm dynamic drivers, drawing on the ATH-M50x monitor-headphone lineage.
AV Watch reports a Japanese official online store price of ¥49,500.
