SIMGOT’s EG280 wired earphones launch in Japan on October 30, 2026, through distributor FourLeaf. Both a 3.5mm cable and a DAC-equipped USB-C adapter come in the box, giving music listeners and gamers two connection options without a separate DAC purchase.

Snackgirls react
Red I want to compare the VALORANT and CS2 presets on the same scene. Would I actually stick with the one named after the game I’m playing?
Nea I’d like to revisit a favorite game soundtrack and follow the strings beneath the percussion. I’m curious how distinctly those layers would come through with the hybrid drivers.
The USB-C DAC is already included
The bundled adapter provides the DAC for USB-C use alongside the earphones’ conventional 3.5mm connection. The supplied cable is approximately 1.7m long, includes a MEMS microphone and detaches from the earpieces using 0.78mm two-pin connectors.

iPhone EQ changes need a PC or Mac
The adapter’s equalizer, or EQ, can be adjusted through the SIMGOT Control Android app or a web app. An iOS app is not currently available, so iPhone and iPad users need to use the web app on a PC or Mac to change those settings. That computer requirement is for EQ editing, not playback.
FourLeaf says the game-specific presets include APEX Legends, VALORANT and CS2, with tuning developed alongside professional esports players.
Different drivers share the frequency range
The hybrid design combines a 10mm LCP dual-chamber dynamic driver for the low and midrange frequencies with a 6mm ring planar-magnetic driver for the highs. FourLeaf describes the pairing as designed for both music and game audio.
There is no fixed manufacturer list price. PHILE WEB reports an expected Japanese retail price of around ¥12,000 including tax.
