AIKO: I’d automate the lookup-and-copy loop, then choose the suggestion myself. Completing a payment can stay off that automation list.
Nea: If I were traveling to an event, this could save me a hunt for the booking reference. I’d still like to see which email the suggestion came from.
A booking reference where you need it
Powered by Gemini with Personal Intelligence, enhanced autofill expands beyond familiar details such as names, addresses and credit card numbers. It can draw on Gmail to suggest order numbers, tracking information and flight booking details.
Google’s official illustration shows an airline check-in form with flight-related suggestions beneath a booking-reference field. An adjacent menu identifies the source with the label “Suggested by Gemini · Gmail.”
U.S. rollout first, Google Photos later
Google began rolling out the feature on October 28, 2026, in the U.S. on desktop, Android and iOS, for Gemini in Chrome users with Personal Intelligence enabled. The rollout is beginning, so that does not mean every eligible user has access immediately.
Google Photos support is still ahead: Google says enhanced autofill will soon be able to access information from images stored in a user’s Google Photos library.
Choose what enhanced autofill can access
Chrome settings let users control whether enhanced autofill is enabled and what information it can access. Google says sensitive data is encrypted.
