Snackgirls react
AIKO: I’d want to see how the schedule behaves when the browser is opened irregularly. The refresh key deserves some time off.
Nea: If I were waiting for a favorite game’s art book to go on sale, I’d appreciate the nudge. I’d still want to linger over the preview illustrations.
Tell Firefox what change to look for
Type /watch in Smart Window chat, describe the update you want—such as an item going on sale or a new job listing with a particular title or company—and add the pages to follow. Each task can monitor up to five pages, letting you group several stores or job boards around the same request.
Choose a daily or weekly schedule. Checks run only while Firefox is open, so this is not a real-time alert service or a monitor that keeps working after you close the browser.
Where alerts appear—and when watching stops
You can keep up to 15 tasks active and edit, pause or delete them. Matching updates appear through the Tasks button in the toolbar, with desktop notifications also available if you enable them. Clicking a desktop notification opens the watched pages.
Mozilla says tasks automatically pause after 60 days without a matching change and stop checking altogether after 90 days without a change. Page monitoring uses Qwen, without changing the model you selected for Smart Window chat.
Form suggestions draw on tabs you choose
The other addition, Fill from sources, appears when you click a field in a web form with at least four text fields that Smart Window can help fill. It recommends a source page, while the pencil icon opens Edit sources so you can change or add tabs. You choose the sources, review and edit the suggestions, and submit the form yourself—Smart Window will not submit it for you.
Information from your selected source pages is shared with Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite for field detection and information extraction; your Smart Window chat model stays unchanged. Regular autofill for saved details such as names and addresses does not rely on AI, and those saved values stay on your device. The new feature currently supports only text fields and does not save generated form-fill data; support for dropdown menus and PDF forms is being explored.
