Snackgirls react
Red I want to try that Bose noise cancellation on a noisy commute—and see how well it keeps distractions out when I’m gaming.
Nea I wonder whether I’d prefer concert recordings and game soundtracks with head tracking, or in plain stereo. I’d check phone compatibility before trying that comparison.
Two drivers per earbud, with noise control from Bose
Motorola’s design pairs an 11mm dynamic driver for lower frequencies with a balanced armature for mids and highs in each earbud. Bose SoundDesign provides the acoustic tuning under the Sound by Bose name. Bose QuietControl adapts active noise cancellation to surrounding sound, while Transparency mode lets outside sound through.
AI translation and Dolby depend on your phone
AI Live Translate offers real-time speech translation when paired with a compatible Motorola phone. Dolby Atmos and Dolby Head Tracking have the same phone requirement; head tracking adjusts spatial audio in response to your head movements.
The Moto Buds app is available on Google Play for Android and the App Store for iOS, providing settings and firmware updates. Having the app on an iPhone does not unlock those Motorola-specific AI and Dolby features.
Up to 37 hours with the case, with rollout ahead
Motorola quotes up to 8 hours of playback from the earbuds and up to 37 hours in total with the charging case.
The announced recommended price in France is €199. Rollout is planned over the coming weeks in select markets across Europe, North America, Latin America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. Before buying, check whether your phone supports AI Live Translate, Dolby Atmos and Dolby Head Tracking with these earbuds.
