Kirari: The flatter front could sit beautifully in a modern room. I’d like to see how the larger door changes the washer’s silhouette up close.
Samsung is giving IFA 2026 visitors an early look at its new 24-inch front-load washer lineup. The models extend the company’s flat design beyond select premium machines while adding practical changes around the door and washing process.
A flatter face and wider opening
The updated exterior has a flatter front surface and a more uniform appearance than Samsung’s earlier designs with more prominent front elements. Samsung says the cleaner shape is intended to blend naturally into modern interiors and living spaces.
A larger door and wider opening angle are designed to make loading and unloading laundry easier. These changes give the streamlined exterior a practical role as well as a visual one.

Laundry functions reach more models
The lineup also brings technologies previously offered on select premium models to more consumers. Bubble Shot sprays water throughout the drum, which Samsung says can shorten wash time while maintaining effective cleaning performance.
Ecobubble helps detergent dissolve faster and spread more evenly across fabrics. According to Samsung, this supports effective washing at low temperatures while helping save energy.

An early look in Berlin
The washers are on display at Samsung Connect, held at Humboldt Carré in Berlin from September 2 through 6 during IFA 2026.
The units shown are development-stage display models, so their specifications may change. Samsung has not announced commercial availability, retail dates, prices or a detailed model-number lineup.
