Nea: Seeing the unpainted Atago and Owari prototypes in the same exhibition as a painted Pamiat Merkuria sample would make the differences in finish fascinating to compare.

Kirari: Atago, Owari, and Pamiat Merkuria offer three distinct visual moods. I’d want to photograph how their silhouettes and presentation contrast across the free display.

Azur Lane’s ninth-anniversary event is putting new FREEing figures on display before the Japanese release marks nine years on September 14. At AZUR LANE MUSI9 FES., visitors can see unpainted prototypes and a painted sample within a larger exhibition of figures and acrylic stands.

Three characters, two display finishes

FREEing is showing Atago Loading Illustration Ver. and Owari Loading Illustration Ver. as unpainted prototypes. Pamiat Merkuria Bunny Ver. appears as a painted prototype, so the three figures are not presented in the same finish state. The report gives no prices, scales, preorder openings, or release dates for them.

How the free exhibition is arranged

The figure area is free to enter. New figures occupy the upper level of the display shelves, while previously released figures are placed below, and the wider exhibition includes more than 400 acrylic stands.
