Red A clip-on that quiets some commute noise without shutting everything out? I’d want to see how securely it stays put once I start moving.
AIKO The 45 dB claim catches my attention, but the balance between awareness and noise reduction is the more interesting part to test.
Baseus introduced the Bowie MC2 NC at IFA 2026 on September 4. The new earbuds combine an open-ear clip-on shape with active noise cancellation, aiming to soften everyday distractions while keeping the lighter, less restrictive feel of an open design.

ANC without a sealed in-ear fit
Baseus does not present the MC2 NC as reproducing the fully isolated experience of conventional sealed true-wireless ANC earbuds. Its appeal is instead tied to maintaining awareness and avoiding a closed in-ear fit, a distinction worth considering for listeners who still want to hear some of their surroundings.

How the clip-on design handles noise
The Air Ear Wing is designed to create a natural acoustic seal that works with dual adaptive ANC. A dual air chamber structure is intended to keep the earbuds secure while remaining comfortable over longer sessions. Ubergizmo reports Baseus’s claimed noise reduction of up to 45 dB, though that figure is a product claim rather than an independent laboratory measurement.
Built around everyday movement
Baseus lists commuting, workdays and workouts among the intended uses, while its product page highlights CloudComfort wrap-around cushions and currently marks the MC2 NC as Coming Soon.
The launch is scheduled for October 2026. No price has been announced, and the available information does not specify sale dates for Korea or Japan.
