Kirari — That hazy mint acrylic around “Spring Carries Love” is the detail I’d want to photograph. I’d frame the shot so the screen looks suspended inside the color.
Nea — I’d want to trace Sukeee’s process closely. The concept came first, and AI entered from sketching onward—that transition is where my curiosity stays.
The same 2026 Samsung OLED TV S95H took on fourteen distinct expressions as fourteen artworks met fourteen custom frames. This visual recap looks back on Samsung’s “Design is an Act of Love” exhibition at Design Miami Seoul 2026, which ran from September 1 through 6 at Dongdaemun Design Plaza and has now ended.
When the frame stopped being a border
Each artwork appeared on an OLED TV S95H screen paired with a frame shaped by its own material, form or finish. Samsung’s Float Layer Design makes the display appear to hover above a real metal plate, and the artists incorporated that structure and its materials into their presentations.
Guimi Yoo’s “Spring Carries Love,” inspired by The Frame Pro, surrounded the screen with mint-colored acrylic and a hazy finish. The color and texture gave the display a character tied specifically to the work around it.

Sound became waves and an ear-shaped flower
Everyday Practice’s “The Shape of Sound,” inspired by Music Studio 5, translated sound into expanding waveforms and layered forms connecting people within a space. Sukeee approached audio from another angle in “The Aural Sensation,” placing a Galaxy Buds4 Pro earbud at the center of an ear-shaped flower encircled by rippling waves and petals.
Sukeee developed the initial concept before using generative AI tools from the sketching stage through the final piece. That process reflects the exhibition’s wider approach: the artists began with their own intuition, emotion and imagination, while some used AI to extend or animate those ideas.

Human imagination remained at the center
Samsung expressed the exhibition concept as AI × (EI + HI), pairing Artificial Intelligence with Emotional Intelligence and Human Imagination. The accompanying seminar, “The Language of Creativity,” continued that theme as Samsung design chief Mauro Porcini discussed human-centered design and AI as a tool for extending empathy and imagination.
