Red I’d queue up a game soundtrack I know by heart and try the spatial mode. I’m curious whether I’d prefer it for the quiet themes or the big battle tracks.

AIKO I’d keep stereo as the reference and compare the spatial setting against it. Then there’s the connection: a codec logo on the earbuds is only half the conversation.

A familiar track makes a useful comparison

The spatial sound option is intended for music, films and games. Try a track you know well in stereo and with the spatial setting enabled to hear how the presentation changes—and which you prefer.

Noise control and codecs for everyday listening

The SE includes adaptive hybrid noise cancellation and a transparency mode for letting outside sound through. Touch controls can be customised in the app.

It also supports aptX Lossless and LDAC, but using either requires support from the playback device too. With ANC switched off, the reported battery life is 6.5 hours on one charge of the earbuds and up to 39 hours in total, including recharges from the case.

October availability, but no exact release day

What Hi-Fi? reports October 2026 availability in black, white and blue, without specifying a day. Release plans for South Korea and Japan have not been confirmed, so check local availability before making plans to buy.

Regular A100 owners should not assume an app update will bring the SE’s Dolby Audio feature to their existing earbuds. If you are considering replacing a pair you already like, assess the SE’s fit and sound first.
