ABSOLUTE ACT Strike Freedom Gundam pairs a waist rail with sliding hips to give the legs more room for action poses. The mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY is the first entry in BANDAI SPIRITS’ new articulated, finished-figure line, where the silhouette in motion is a central design concern.

Snackgirls react
Kirari: I want to photograph the same pose with the light coming from different directions. I’m curious which angle makes the silhouette and gold accents stand out.
Red: I want to set up an airborne rifle pose on that bendable arm. How much can the waist rail and sliding hips change the stance?
Pull-out joints and surfaces that catch the light
The ABSOLUTE ACTION SYSTEM continues into the upper body: the neck pulls out for more pronounced head angles, while the shoulders extend to make room for rifle poses. BANDAI SPIRITS also describes the single-axis knee design as a way to avoid a stretched-looking silhouette when bent. Flexible ankles are intended to help with foot contact and add expression to a stance.
The sculpt’s surface planes are arranged so that shadows change with the lighting and viewing angle. Most of the color comes from molded plastic, an approach the maker says takes handling and posing into account, while partial gold paint adds contrast.
The figure stands approximately 185 mm tall and is made from ABS. It comes as a finished collectible in the ABSOLUTE ACT line, separate from HG, RG and MG Gunpla kits and from METAL BUILD.

A bendable-arm base for airborne poses
The included display base uses a bendable arm designed for airborne posing. Weapons include left and right high-energy beam rifles, two beam sabers with a grip for connecting them, and two beam shields. Three replacement hand types for each side round out the posing options.
The Japanese release is planned for March 2027, with a tax-inclusive suggested retail price of ¥16,500. Preorders opened on August 27, 2026; current preorder availability depends on the retailer.
