ARC Raiders’ Frozen Trail 2.0 launched on October 8, 2026, adding a Grappling Hook and changing how players select skills. The revised tree introduces choices within each branch, giving you specific decisions to make as you invest your skill points.

A Grappling Hook and new cameras
The new items include Grappling Hook, Tether Launcher and Yank Grenade, alongside Basic and Advanced Cameras.
Where the skill tree makes you choose
The overhaul adds and changes skills and rearranges the tree’s layout. Midway through each branch, you choose one of two skills. You can make that choice again when you reset the skill tree.
At the end of each branch, you can select up to two of three skills once you have invested the required skill points.
More quests, more stash space
The update adds 22 quests and two additional stash levels. Maximum stash capacity is 328 slots, excluding Expedition rewards and space acquired from Nomadic Envoys.
The Outpost unlocks through a project, giving you access to the research station. For that quest, the official patch notes include a practical reminder: accept it and bring a camera.
