Snackgirls react
Kirari: The matching outfits and colorful bunting have me imagining a whole group-photo setup. The Brown-face cake has to make it into the frame, too!
Nea: I’m rather fond of Brown joining his own cake preparations. I’d like to linger over that kitchen scene—the forgotten surprise is part of its charm.
Secret shopping while Hello Kitty keeps Brown company
The illustrated story begins with Hello Kitty and Brown having tea while their friends secretly shop for his birthday. A flower shop, fruit stall and coffee kiosk fill the street scene, where characters carry flowers, balloons and treats as the preparations get underway.

Brown helps with his own surprise
Keeping the celebration secret gets a little harder in the kitchen. Everyone gathers to prepare a special cake, but Brown joins in too—and they seem to forget that this was supposed to be a surprise.
Mixing bowls, strawberries and baking tools surround a Brown-shaped cake in the busy kitchen illustration. The preparations also include taking measurements for matching party outfits.

Matching outfits beneath the bunting
The finished party brings everyone together outdoors in matching outfits, beneath trees and colorful bunting. A Brown-face birthday cake sits on the long table, while Pochacco holds a camera and Cinnamoroll sits on a swing—small details to linger over around the main celebration.

A Shibuya pop-up is planned for January 2027
The planned venue is LINE FRIENDS SQUARE SHIBUYA, at 1-19-10 Jinnan, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. The collaboration is also planned for other distribution channels.
For anyone considering a visit, exact opening and closing dates and entry arrangements have not yet been announced. Further pop-up details and the product lineup will be revealed later.
