Football Manager 27 will open its Launch Preview to PC and Mac players for five free days. You can try every game mode and take the career you start into the paid preview and November 10 full release, without starting a new save.
When and where you can play free
The free window runs from October 29 at 18:00 GMT until November 3 at 18:00 GMT, through Steam, Epic and the Microsoft Store. Sports Interactive says no additional publisher registration is required.
Snackgirls react
Red: I’d use the free window to try an ambitious tactic and see where it breaks. A few tactical experiments sound like a good way to spend those five days.
Nea: If I get attached to a club during those first few days, I’d want to keep that same career going. Even a messy opening chapter could become a lovely part of its history.
What you need to keep that career going
Once the free period ends, continued Launch Preview access requires a purchase through a SEGA-approved digital retailer or an active Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscription. Other Game Pass tiers are not included, and the free trial does not grant permanent ownership.
Pre-purchases open alongside the free preview on October 29, offering 10% off and continued preview access between the free window’s end and the November 10 launch.
Closer to launch, but still a preview
Launch Preview replaces the series’ previous Beta and Advanced Access phases. Sports Interactive intends it to be closer to launch quality, but it is not the final release.
Some data awaiting rights approval may not reflect real-world information, and some club and player assets may be missing.
