Katamari Damacy’s tiny Prince gets a magnetic ball

Prime 1 Studio has given Katamari Damacy’s Prince a magnetic ball that can hold miniature props and suitable metal objects. Preorders for the Prince and King opened on October 22, 2026, with release planned for November 2027. The pair launch A-SYMBOL, a line of completed display figures rather than assembly kits.

A tiny Prince with objects to collect

The Prince himself is a 1:1-scale figure just 5 cm tall. The full display with the magnetic Katamari measures 15 cm tall; displaying the Prince alone on the included stand gives a total height of 6 cm.

Magnets in the Katamari’s protrusions hold the three included props—an eraser, film and a soy-sauce container—and can also hold suitable metal objects. Not every metal will stick, and extra household objects shown in promotional photos are not necessarily included.

The Prince comes with normal and whistling heads to swap between. The Happy head is an extra included with the bonus version, not a standard accessory across every version.

The King takes up 51 cm of shelf space

The non-scale King stands 51 cm tall, with a cloth cape and a neck that turns left and right. A support stand is included.

Normal and smiling heads come with the King, while the open-eyes head is a bonus-version extra. There is also a special “Cool Mask” head for the separately sold Prince; a Prince figure is not included with the King.

The bonus versions cost ¥10,120 for the Prince and ¥32,340 for the King, including Japanese tax. Preorders through Prime 1 Studio’s official store require a deposit, and orders close once the planned quantity is reached.
