Snackgirls editorial note

Nea: Final Fantasy X is a story people remember emotionally, so a 25th anniversary museum format fits the game better than a simple merch drop.

AIKO: The practical numbers are Sept. 12–27, Shinjuku LUMINE 0, 11:00–20:00, with the final day closing at 17:00. Ticket and goods details still need the official follow-up.

Square Enix has opened the official site for FINAL FANTASY X MUSEUM. GAME Watch and Inside Games also reported on July 17 that the 25th anniversary exhibition will bring development materials, limited commemorative goods and a fan memory-comment project to Shinjuku in September 2026.

Shinjuku LUMINE 0 hosts it from Sept. 12 to Sept. 27

The official site lists the exhibition period as Saturday, Sept. 12 to Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026. The venue is LUMINE 0 at NEWoMan Shinjuku 5F.

Opening hours are 11:00 to 20:00, with last entry 30 minutes before closing. The final day closes at 17:00, with last entry at 16:30. The site notes that entry is not by timed replacement blocks.

Development materials and limited goods are the main draw

GAME Watch and Inside Games describe the exhibition as showing valuable materials including development references from the game. That gives the event a stronger anniversary angle than a normal pop-up shop.

Exhibition-limited commemorative goods are also planned. However, the official site has not yet locked the full ticket and goods details, so readers should treat pricing, sales method and item lists as follow-up checks rather than confirmed purchase information.

The fan-memory project matters too

Alongside the site opening, the project is collecting fan memory comments. That fits a 25th anniversary event built around a story-heavy game.

Even readers who cannot visit Tokyo may want to watch this part, because it shows how Square Enix is framing Final Fantasy X as a remembered journey rather than only a product anniversary.

What to watch before planning a visit

The checklist is date, venue, opening hours, final-entry time, ticket follow-up and goods details.

If you are planning a trip, the safest move is to mark the Sept. 12–27 window first, then wait for the official ticket and goods update before deciding the exact visit day.
