Snackgirls editorial note

Kirari: The cute part is easy to understand: a Hello Kitty pick on sushi turns the visit into something people will want to photograph.

AIKO: The practical checklist is July 29 for wave 1, Aug. 19 for wave 2, five special stores and random goods by menu type. Availability can differ by store, so checking Sushiro’s official app or page matters.

Sushiro has announced its first collaboration with Sanrio’s Hello Kitty. Sushiro’s official campaign page and GAME Watch’s July 17 report confirm a July 29 start, an Aug. 19 second wave, menu-linked goods, special stores and touch-display content.

Wave 1 starts July 29, wave 2 starts Aug. 19

The collaboration is split into two waves. Wave 1 is scheduled to begin on July 29, 2026, while wave 2 is scheduled for Aug. 19, 2026. It is Sushiro’s first Hello Kitty collaboration, built around a cute character-meets-sushi theme.

The lineup is not a single item drop. Sushi dishes, desserts, drinks and set menus each connect to different goods such as picks, stickers, seals, mascots, pouches and mini charms.

Menu prices and random goods

According to GAME Watch, target sushi items start from ¥250, desserts start from ¥330 to ¥350, drinks with mascots start from ¥1,350, and set menus with pouches or mini charms start from ¥720.

The goods are random rather than selectable. Picks and clear picks are listed as eight designs per wave, stickers and seals also use eight-design pools, while mascot goods include secret designs. That makes the wave schedule important if you are visiting for a specific item type.

Five special stores and touch-display content

During the campaign, Sushiro plans five special collaboration stores across Tokyo, Kanagawa, Aichi, Osaka and Fukuoka. That gives the campaign a visit-and-photo angle beyond the regular menu items.

Some stores with Sushiro’s large touch-display system will also offer a Hello Kitty mode. Sushiro notes that sales status and prices should be checked through the official app or website, so local availability is part of the planning.

What to check before visiting

This campaign is mostly about random goods, wave timing, target stores and remaining availability. If you are planning a visit, check whether the item you want belongs to wave 1 or wave 2 first.

This article uses only images from Sushiro’s official campaign page and GAME Watch public coverage. It does not use generated substitute cards or unrelated images.
