Getting loot out of Hajin gives you something to work with back at base in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s DMZ extraction mode. Activision’s October 5 overview details the Forward Operating Base (FOB), an expanding command center where you manage gear, put recovered materials toward crafting and prepare for your next deployment.

Snackgirls react
Red: I’d head straight to the firing range after building a weapon. I want to see how my next loadout handles before taking it into Hajin.
Nea: The replayable story missions have my attention. I’d like to take time with the narrative objectives, even when an operation’s rewards are tempting.
From five starting stations to more than a dozen
The FOB starts with Operators, DMZ Orders, Stash/Loadout, Firing Range and Deploy. Successful operations expand it to more than a dozen stations, adding more ways to use what you bring home.
DMZ has its own progression track from level 1 to 70, unlocking stations and rewards along the way. That level range belongs to DMZ specifically, not every Modern Warfare 4 mode.
Recovered materials and manuals become new gear
The unlockable 3D Printer uses Resources and Ingredients for crafting and station upgrades. At the Gunsmith, you can spend DMZ Cash on attachments for extracted weapons, while bringing back Weapon Manuals lets you build brand-new weapons.
The Vendor’s selection rotates daily. Other unlocks include the Bounty Leaderboard, Boss Board and Dog Tag Case.
Choose an objective—or head out without one
Deployments offer three ways to approach Hajin:
- Story Missions: Replay narrative objectives for rewards.
- Dynamic Operations: Earn DMZ Cash and XP. Each completed operation grants your squad a Supply Drop, with drops increasing in rarity as operations are completed.
- Free Roam: Explore Hajin City without selecting a mission.
Story Missions, Dynamic Operations and Orders grant XP. Lieutenants and Commanders also award XP, weapons and high-value loot, giving you more to pursue while out in the field.
Making noise brings an enemy response
Hajin’s areas have different threat levels, and loud actions provoke an enemy response specific to the area. Combat, loot and objectives also contribute to your After Action Report rating.
Vehicles let you travel by land, water and air, with gas stations providing repairs and refuelling.
DMZ launches on October 23, 2026, alongside Modern Warfare 4’s Campaign and Multiplayer. PS5 preorders are available.
