Hold that fork! I haven’t taken a photo!

When the food arrives, photos come first. Cake, lunch, whatever it is—I like to get a picture before I dig in. Turn the plate a little, move the cup over… oh, that looks cute!

If the photo turns out pretty, I swear the food tastes even better that day. I’m already excited before the first bite. Then I open my gallery later and immediately want to go back!

I take photos of whoever I’m with and send them the files, too. When a friend goes, ‘Wow, I look good in this!’ I get so excited I keep looking at it with her. Right? I told you that angle was cute! Tell me which ones you like. I’ll send the originals.

Look! What do you think of today’s outfit?

Another heart clip? Does this color go with my nails? I love picking out those little things. If an outfit feels a bit extra, I check the mirror again—and if I love it, I’m wearing it. It’s what I’m feeling today♡

I do some modeling on the side. In front of a camera, I suddenly start thinking about where to look and what to do with my hands. That’s why I chat with my friends when I take their pictures. Being told ‘Act natural!’ can make you so awkward. Me too!

At the club, I mostly look after Insta, Insta comics and the little cards you swipe through. Red writes for WordPress, and Shiro-chan puts everything together on Naver. I’m right beside them going, ‘What about this picture for the first slide?’

When I’m decorating a card, I always want to add one more heart. There’s room right here! Just a tiny one! If Shiro-chan says the text is too small, I make it bigger again. Showing everyone the finished card is the exciting part. One ‘That’s cute!’ and I want to make the next one.

Give me a soft, juicy peach!

I like soft, squishy peaches more than firm ones! In Korean, we shorten that to mulbok. The kind where the juice runs down your hand when you bite into it. A little mess is fine. It’s delicious♡

I keep reaching for peachy blush and lip balm, too. Open my makeup bag and you’ll find a bunch of similar shades. But this one’s milkier, and that one’s a little more coral. They’re all different to me!

And Kringles! I love the chips, but the little mustached mascot on the can is so cute. Look at that confident face! Holding up a fake mustache makes it even more fun. My friends can laugh—I’m showing them anyway. Look, it kind of suits me, right?

I made a strawberry cake!

I love sweets. Especially a cake piled with whipped cream and strawberries! I love it so much I wanted to try making one myself. And I wanted to know how it feels to hand it over and say, ‘I made this!’

I’m taking baking classes and still practicing. Getting the cream smooth is harder than it looks. I fix one side and dent the other… wait, was it prettier before I touched it? Adding the strawberries always cheers me up, though. I’ll get better next time!

I’m trying to look after my diet, too. Eating proper meals and keeping up with my runs. I can share the cake I love with my friends. Cut some pretty slices, and get a photo of each one!

Run done! Time to post today’s update

I love running. Putting on my trainers and getting outside makes me feel so refreshed. Between modeling and keeping fit, I want to keep looking after my stamina, too.

After every run, I post an update on my own Insta. How the run went, the sky along the way, my face when I’m done. Looking back and thinking, ‘Hey, I’ve really kept at this!’ makes me want to head out again.

I don’t look amazing every time. Sometimes my bangs are stuck to my forehead. But finishing a workout puts me in such a good mood that I always take a photo. That one’s going up with today’s run!

I overthink things, too

I can be so excited to post a photo, then keep checking the reactions. Should I have said more? Was I the only one excited? There I go, overthinking again. I tell my friends, ‘It’s fine~’ and then keep looking at it on my own.

I get a little quieter when I visit my family, too. They’re pretty strict, and I’m not quite ready to show them all of how I like to dress. Living away from home, I can pick what I want to wear. Back there, even my voice gets more polite. ‘Yes, I’m home.’ Like that.

I want my family to think well of me, and I want to keep the look I love. Both matter to me, and I’m still figuring it out. With Red and Shiro-chan, I’m starting to talk about this stuff a little more.

Taking photos, dressing up, baking cakes, going for runs… I’m busier than you’d think, right? But when I find something I love, I always have time to show my friends. All it takes is, ‘Look at this!’

We even got into some quieter stuff today. Thanks for staying with me. Next time you see a Snack Girls photo or card and think, ‘Kirari probably picked this,’ tell me! That would make my day.
